Ravens offensive lineman DJ Fluker was allegedly mistreated by his son’s mother during a argument at his Reisterstown, Maryland home on July 13, according to a Baltimore County police report.
Kimberly Denise Davis, who has lived with Fluker for the past three years, was arrested. and reportedly accused of simple second degree assault allegedly hitting him in the face. The argument erupted after Davis told her she was a bad mother to her son, according to a witness to the incident.
“The officer then met with suspect Kimberly Davis, who informed her that she hit the victim on the nose during an argument, according to the police report.” She also advised that she not intentionally hit him with the intention of causing harm or injury. “
Davis was released on her own recognition on July 15, 2020, police said. Towson, Maryland, District Court issued a temporary protection order against her.
The video obtained by WBFF in Baltimore showed The aftermath of another Davis incident hitting Fluker during another discussion in June. Fluker did not file a police report on that incident.
“We have been in regular communication with DJ on this matter and will continue to monitor the situation,” the Ravens said in a statement.
Fluker officially agreed to a one-year contract with the Ravens on May 11.
He started 27 games as a right guard for Seattle in the past two seasons. The Ravens have a need in that position after quarterback Yanda decided to retire last month after 13 years.
Fluker, 6 ft 5, 340 lbs, He will compete with sophomore Ben Powers and two rookies, Tire Phillips and Ben Bredeson, for the starting position.
