Rapper Silento, best known for his hit song “Watch Me” (Whip / Naye Na), was accused on Thursday of trying to attack his home with a hatchet.
Prosecutors allege that Silento, whose legal name is Richard Lamar Haq, went to the home of an unlicensed stranger in the Valley Village area of Los Angeles and shouted at two insiders before one of them turned him into a weapon.
The rapper was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and is being held on 10 105,000 bail, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said.

The alleged attack took place while he was out on bail for a second arrest in Orange County, officials said.
He is due to be arrested on Friday. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. An email seeking comment from her manager was not immediately returned.

Silanto could face up to six years in prison if convicted.
The 22-year-old Atlanta rapper and singer had a big hit in 2015 with “Watch Me (Whip / Naye Na)”.
The video with the song’s dance quickly grabbed millions of YouTube views and brought a television look to Silento.
