Raheem Mostert and his agent, Brett Tessler, announced on July 8 that they had requested an exchange from the San Francisco 49ers. They are both unhappy with the broker’s current three-year contract, which is just entering its second year.
There is no doubt that Mostert is underpaid. He is not even the highest paid broker on the list. That would be Tevin Coleman, even though Mostert is expected to carry the bulk of the workload this season.
Mostert is slated to earn a base salary of just $ 2.575 million in 2020 and won’t become a free agent until 2022.

The rookies are slated to report to training camp tomorrow. The quarterbacks and injured players will arrive Thursday. Mostert and the others are slated to report next week.
Mostert recently contacted the 49ers, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. The two sides appear to be hoping to move forward, but Mostert and his agent remain hopeful that a new agreement can be reached.
Olive branch? # 49ers RB Raheem Mostert spoke to a senior member of the SF organization to clear the air and move forward on the same page, sources say. When asked about the situation that was being resolved, agent @TesslerSports said: “Hopefully that is the case.”

Mostert led the 49ers with 772 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns on 137 carries last season. His performance of 29 carries, 220 yards and four touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game helped San Francisco appear in the Super Bowl.

San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert requested a trade, according to a tweet from his agent, Brett Tessler. The agent pointed to months of unproductive contract talks with the team as the basis for the request. Tessler expressed disappointment at the situation and his client, who led all NFL running backs in yards per carry (5.6) last season and helped the 49ers reach Super Bowl LIV. After months of unproductive conversations with the 49ers about Raheem Mostert’s fair adjustment of the contract (he paid him for special equipment), we have requested an exchange. Disappointing that would come to this for a guy who
Raheem Mostert asks to be highest-paid running back of 49ers, according to report

On Wednesday, it emerged that San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert requested a trade after what his agent described as months of unproductive talks. Mostert is signed during the 2021 season, but will earn a base salary of just $ 2.575 million this year. Mostert and his agent want a new deal or want the broker to return to a team that will offer him one. What exactly is Mostert asking the 49ers for? Is that completely irrational for the team’s leading running back and the player who led all running backs in yards per carry last season? It doesn’t sound like this RELATED:
