Raiders News: Rookie Class Reports to Henderson Training Camp

While there is still a lot to discover before there is a 2020 NFL season, this is a historic day for the Las Vegas Raiders as their first-class rookie reports to training camp in Henderson, Nevada.

The Las Vegas Review Journal reports on the Raiders’ seven-player rookie class and several undrafted free agents will go camping on Monday. The plan is to start slowly with physicals and meetings, and then take the rookies out to the field for conditioning later in the week.

Monday is also the first time that Jon Gruden and his coaching staff meet with rookies since they were drafted. All of the above work has been done virtually.

Expect the Raiders to sign their rookie class very soon because they can’t do any real work until they’re signed. Once the physical process ends, the deals should be coming.

Veteran players are supposed to report to camp on July 28, but nothing is official.

But still, rejoice, Raiders fans – there are real soccer players on the premises! That is a great start.
