Rachael Ray and family safe after house fire

Ray, her husband John Cusimano and their dog were at home in the house in Lake Lucerne on Sunday when the fire broke out.

Rachael Ray and John Cusimano attend a benefit in November 2019.

“Anyone could get out safely,” Brian LaFleure, director of emergency services and fire coordinator for the province, told CNN.

“There were no injuries, which was good,” he said. “At the moment we are in the process of determining what the cause may be. It is not suspected, but we are looking to determine what the cause was.”

The fire mostly damaged the main house on the property.

Ray’s rep also gave a statement to CNN.

“Rachael, her husband John and their dog Bella are safe,” the statement read. “Their house has unfortunately been compromised and we are in the process of gaining access to how much. I am happy to provide updates as I know.”

Ray has been filming her talk show “The Rachael Ray Show” from her home since the studios closed the pandemic.

On Monday, she tweeted, “Thank you to our local first responders for being kind and gracious and preserving what they could from our home.”

“Grateful that my mom, my husband, my dog … we are all okay,” Ray wrote. “These are the days we should all be grateful for what we have, not for what we have lost.”

“I * have * lost * my phone (posted via a team member) Thank you very much for all the well-being, care and outreach, but can not return texts and conversations at the moment …!,” She added.
