The measurements presented in this document were made with the 4 km detector at the LIGO Livingston Observatory using a new compressed light source. Haocun Yu made all the measurements. Haocun Yu and LM carried out the data analysis. M. Tse, Haocun Yu and NK built and commissioned the squeezed light sources. LB led the upgrade of light squeezed from LIGO detectors, with the participation of large numbers of people within the LIGO Laboratory, the National University of Australia and other members of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration. NM led the experimental campaign to measure sub-SQL quantum noise on the Advanced LIGO detector. Haocun Yu, LM, M. Tse, LB and NM directly contributed to the preparation of the manuscript.
