PSG are looking for their first Champions League title, while Bayern lift the trophy five times earlier. Both clubs currently have their domestic league and cup titles.

The road to the final was difficult for PSG, who beat Group A and beat Dortmund 3-2 in total in the round of 16. It drew a stunning 2-1 victory over Atalanta – scoring twice in the last moments of the game —In the quarter-finals before Leipzig clapped in the semi-finals.
With a win, PSG would become the 23rd club to win the European title and the first new club to win the Champions League since Chelsea in 2012. Only one French side has ever won the league, when Marseille beat AC Milan in 1993 defeated.
Bayern Munich’s journey to the title game began after winning Group B. It later crossed past Chelsea 7-1 overall in the round of 16 and also blew Barcelona 8-2 in the quarter-finals. Bayern Munich enters the final of a 3-0 victory over Lyon. Robert Lewandowski has been a sensation for the club as he has scored 15 goals in the action of the Champions League, leaving him behind the net in each of his nine appearances in the competition.
Bayern would tie Liverpool for the third most European Championship if they won on Sunday, with victory giving the club a sixth crown of the Champions League. The German powerhouse is on familiar territory as this is Bayern’s 11th appearance in the final, tied for the second-most in history with AC Milan. Bayern last won the Champions League in 2013, beating German side Borussia Dortmund to grab a three-time winning season.
Bayern enter Sunday’s match after winning 10 of their Champions League games this season. No team has ever gone through the league with a perfect record.
The two clubs recently played each other in the group stage of the 2017-18 Champions League. PSG won at home 3-0, and Bayern responded with a 3-1 win in their home team.
