Today may be your last, best chance to make a PS5 or Xbox before Christmas. Best Buy has a Next-Gen console for sale today, Tuesday, December 15th – but we expect inventory to be as limited as ever. The sale “will go live after 8 a.m. Central Time” (9 am ET, 6 am PT) company blog post. Those PS5 and Xbox consoles will only be sold online online, although they can be picked up at a best-in-store using the retailer’s curbside pickup option.

On paper, the Xbox Series X is the most powerful of the next-gen consoles.
Even though the sale started a month ago, it is incredibly difficult to find new PlayStations and Xbox. The Best Buy tweet was retweeted 1,600 times within 50 minutes of announcing there would be more stock on Tuesday.
It was not immediately clear how much stock of any system would be available or if Best Buy would put people interested in a similar virtual queue to control traffic while selling PlayStation 5 directly to its website. CNET has reached Best Buy and will be updated if the company responds.
