The Lancaster District Attorney’s Office said the investigation is at an early stage. But videos surfaced online calling for protests and accountability outside Lancaster police headquarters.

The office released a statement on Sunday night stating that the 27-year-old shooter, Ricardo Munoz, was stabbed and pronounced dead at the scene on Sunday evening.

The office said Movie Munoz came out of a house and stabbed him in a threatening manner.

“The officer was then fired,” the statement said. “No one else was struck.”

According to CBS Philadelphia, District Attorney Heather Adams said the police shootings involved have a significant impact on the community, as we are seeing large numbers of individuals on the streets. “However, I ask that all reactions be angered as the investigation continues.”
