Production of ‘Masked Singer Australia’ has stopped after COVID outbreak

The Masked Singer Australia has entered lockdown mode after several crew members were diagnosed with COVID-19.

The production team, which numbers 180 and includes the masked celebrity, host Osher Gunsberg and her judging panel, are now in self-isolation.

With only one episode to go in the current season, production is now being halted immediately because “the health and safety of the community, and our staff and production partners is our number one priority,” a statement issued Sunday said.

The series was filmed in Melbourne, which currently holds the undesirable status as the hotspot of Australia’s coronavirus, and is being broadcast on the commercial Network 10.

The performance will continue. All episodes are in sight, with the exception of the grand finale, which means fans can tune in on Monday and Tuesday nights for the next few weeks.

Talk to channel 10s The project, Gunsberg revealed that the big surprise came just two hours from the final. “Nothing we do is worth risking the lives of many people,” he says.

ARIA Award-winning singers Katie Noonan and Christine Anu are one of the Aussie celebrities who unmasked earlier this season.

The wacky show is a hit Down Under, where she is regularly better than any rival entertainment program in her slot and more than one million viewers snap.
