Princess Beatrix married Italian magnate Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a private ceremony in Windsor.
The wedding took place on Friday morning at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge. The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh attended, along with other close relatives.
Beatrice was initially due to get married in May, but the coronavirus delayed plans.
The new date had not been announced in advance and Buckingham Palace said the ceremony was “small”.
The wedding was held in accordance with all relevant government guidelines, the palace said in a statement.

The ceremony had originally been planned to take place in the Royal Chapel, St James’s Palace, in London.
Royal Lodge’s new headquarters in Windsor Great Park, a short distance from Windsor Castle, is Beatrice’s childhood home. Her parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, still live on the property and also attended the ceremony.
Mapelli Mozzi, known as Edo, and Beatrice started dating in the fall of 2018. They got engaged during a weekend trip to Italy last September.
Their families have known each other for many years, and the couple are said to have started a relationship after reuniting again at the wedding of Beatriz’s sister, Princess Eugenia.
