Princess Beatrice shares stunning photos from her secret royal wedding in Windsor

Princess Beatrice and her new husband shared stunning photos tonight of their secret royal wedding, which was planned in two weeks.

The Queen’s granddaughter, 31, married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 37, in a small service in Windsor on Friday morning.

The Monarch, Prince Philip and Prince Andrew were among the group of about 20 guests at the celebrations, which were arranged after the couple’s original wedding was canceled due to the coronavirus blockade.

Her father, the Duke of York, accompanied her down the hall and hosted a reception at her home, The Royal Lodge, Windsor.

Eduardo’s young son, Wolfie, was the best man and the countryman.

Fewer than 20 guests attended, a far cry from the 2018 wedding of Bea’s sister Eugenie, 30, and Jack Brooksbank, 30, at St George Windsor Chapel.

Beatrice and Edo reportedly decided not to share an official photo on the day itself as they did not want to take the lead in Captain Sir Tom Moore, who was knighted by the Queen for her incredible fundraising efforts during the blockade of the coronavirus only hours after the ceremony. .

The two beautiful photos from the couple’s wedding day show Beatrice and Eduardo leaving the church after the service, as well as the newlyweds to the Queen and Prince Philip.

Radiant Newlyweds

The Queen and Felipe were the only members of royalty who were shown to the beaming bride Beatrice and her husband, a property developer.

Andrew, 60, Sarah Ferguson, 60, and the groom’s parents did not appear. Neither did Christopher, Eduardo’s three-year-old son, known as Wolfie.

In the snapshots, Beatrice looks stunning in a vintage Norman Hartnell gown borrowed from Her Majesty the Queen.

The dress is made of ivory-toned Peau De Soie taffeta, trimmed with ivory duchess satin, with organza sleeves.

It is inlaid with diamond and has a geometric checkered bodice. It was remodeled and furnished by Angela Kelly and Stewart Parvin.

Beatrice was wearing the Queen Mary diamond fringed tiara, borrowed by Her Majesty the Queen. The queen also wore the tiara on Her Majesty’s wedding day.

It was originally made for Queen Mary by Garrard and company in 1919, from a diamond necklace given by Queen Victoria for her wedding.

Beatrice carried a bouquet of jasmine, pale pink and cream sweet peas, real porcelain ivory spray roses, pink o’hara garden roses, pink wax flower, and compatible baby pink.

In accordance with royal tradition, myrtle twigs were included in the bouquet. The bouquet was made by Patrice Van Helden, co-owner of RVH Floral Design.

The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Canon Paul Wright, deputy dean of the Royal Chapel, and the Rev. Canon Martin Poll, Her Majesty’s Queen’s national chaplain.

In accordance with government guidelines, all social distancing measures were followed.

The service included two of the couple’s favorite poems, read by their Mothers, and a Bible reading.

Beatrice and Edo announced their engagement last year, and they had planned to get married in May.

These were; Sonnet 116 by William Shakespeare; “I carry you in my heart” by EE Cummings; and First Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians Chapter 13, verses 1-13.

According to government guidelines, hymns were not sung, but a selection of music was played.

The ceremony was attended by Her Majesty the Queen and Her Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, the parents and brothers of the couple.

A friend revealed to Beatrice, “determined to make her family smile again,” and her mother planned the private wedding in two weeks. The friend said, “Bea had a lot to deal with.

“The whole business with her father and then her wedding was canceled. But she is so sweet and handled everything with remarkable grace.

“She had a chance to lift the dark cloud over the family and give them something to smile about. She is quite different from her sister in that she didn’t want the big flashy wedding in the first place.

“Bea and Edo are also interested in starting their own family, so in the end everything went perfectly.”

The couple got engaged during their vacation in Italy last year and planned to get married in London in May.

However, like hundreds of other couples, they had to abandon their romantic plans due to government guidelines.

One of Beatrice’s friends told The Sun: “They were obviously very interested in the Queen coming, so the wedding had to happen before going to Balmoral, so this was a great opportunity.

“Many guests were disappointed not to have a great day, but understood why.

“They are like a normal family and had to make sacrifices like many others across the country and wanting to have a wonderful celebration when the time is right.”

The Queen and Prince Philip were photographed leaving the ceremony, with the Queen beaming in a turquoise coat and matching hat.

The Duke of Edinburgh, who turned 99 last month, also smiled broadly as he sat in the back of the car with his wife.

Princess Beatriz’s secret wedding

Beatrice and Edo began dating in the fall of 2018, around the time of Princess Eugenie’s sister’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank.

The couple has been friends for years, and their friends said their relationship moved very quickly.

Edo, a millionaire property developer, has a son from a previous relationship, who is now Beatrice’s stepson.
