Prince Harry and Prince William barely spoke to each other after Sussexes’ decision to resign as working royals said author Omid Scobie. The royal commentator spoke about the sibling riff during an interview about his biography Finding Freedom.
Mr. Scobie added that Prince Harry wrote “What the hell” to the Queen in an argument over a royal aide.
Mr. Scobie said: ‘The brothers have not spoken since the time of the Sandringham Summit.
‘They had not seen each other. That will really take some time to heal.
‘I think the distance between the brothers became wider and wider.
“And that’s partly because of things that are happening – and we’ve discussing them in the book.”
Mr Scobie’s book, Finding Freedom, is a biography of the life of the Sussexes together that describes the couple’s split from the Royal Family.
The royal expert said the relationship between Prince Harry and Prince William was broken because the Sussexes announced their plans to retire as senior royals.
Mr Scobie said: ‘I really think where it went wrong for Harry and Meghan and the Cambridges was that decision to go public with the roadmap to their new work model.

One source said: “It is completely wrong to think that William and Harry are communicating as they once were.
“The outcome is serious and difficult. Kate and Meghan do not communicate in person at all. ”
Mr. Scobie accused Kate Middleton of taking part in the destruction of the relationship.
He said: ‘I do not think there was really much effort in staying her.
‘If I’m honest and that’s highlighted throughout the book, the relationship between Meghan and Kate has never really gone that far.
“Meghan felt that not much effort was put on Kate’s part to take care of her during some of the darkest moments, especially during her pregnancy.”
Mr. Scobie also said the Royal Family “will stop at nothing to make Meghan’s life difficult”.
He said Prince Harry had called the Queen before his wedding to complain about her key assistant Angela Kelly about which chapter the Duchess of Sussex would wear.
The royal expert said: “Harry had to intervene. He called his grandmother and said, ‘I do not know what the hell is. This woman needs to make this work for my future wife. ‘
‘Harry felt there were those within the institution who at least stopped doing anything to make Meghan’s life difficult.
“Meghan could not try the tiara until a few days before the wedding.”
