Prince William and Kate Middleton present a photo of the family’s Christmas card


A photograph taken in the fall by photographer Matt Portius shows the family in front of a pile of wood at Emer Hall, their residence in Norfolk, eastern England.

The royal family usually spends their holidays in the country colony of Queen Elizabeth II, in rural Norfolk, 100 miles northeast of London, where the queen usually joins her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

But with the coronavirus epidemic raging in the country, this festive season will play out a little differently.

According to a Buckingham Palace spokesperson, the Queen and Prince Philip, Duke Ed of Ed Dinburgh, will celebrate Christmas “peacefully” this year at their residence at Windsor Castle.

“After considering all the appropriate advice, the Queen and Duke Ed F. Edinburgh have decided that this year they will spend Christmas peacefully in Windsor,” the press statement said.

Both heirs to the British throne, Prince Charles and, secondly, Prince William, were directly affected by the epidemic of the royal family, with a positive test for Covid-19.

The Queen and Prince Philip have spent most of their time at Windsor Castle this year, having moved away from Buckingham Palace during the first wave of Spring ov Tu Covid-19.
