MONTECITO – It appears that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have settled in their new Montecito estate.
Prince Harry unexpectedly joined a virtual call with a group of Invictus Games competitors Saturday morning from the couple’s new home. The call included Jen Warren, from the United Kingdom, Bruno Gruevremont, from Canada, Mark Reidy, from Australia, and team captain JJ Chalmers. The members recently completed a virtual triathlon, known as the At Home Superhero Tri, according to a report by Us Magazine.
“I tried to book Captain America, but I managed to get Captain Wales instead,” joked Mr. Chalmers when the prince entered the call.
Prince Harry shouted back, “The banter has certainly not improved in recent months, that’s for sure.”
Prince Harry, a former military pilot, discusses how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the Invictus Games, which he set up in 2014 for wounded, wounded and sick servants and women.
“With lockdown and everything else that happened… this was definitely a great opportunity for you guys to get together not to do the physical side, which improves your mental fitness, but to be together as a team that’s so. ‘ doing a thing, and having a purpose and a purpose and to some extent a distraction from the day to the life of life, ”he said.
The royal couple moved last month into their 19,000-square-foot land in Montecito.
