Prince Harry News: Prince Harry did not let Queen out on tiara series before marriage | Royal | News

A source close to Prince Harry has refuted allegations that the Duke of Sussex called the Queen to ask her “what the hell is going on?” after Meghan was denied access to her wedding tiara. The source added that the claims were “completely ridiculous”.

Omid Scobie, the co-author of Finding Freedom – an explosive new biography of the Sussexes – has defended himself from claims he said Harry yelled at while on the phone.

During the suspicious conversation, the duke is told to ask if Meghan would be able to try on her diamond bandeau tiara with her hairdresser prior to the wedding.

In the reported call, Harry describes a tussle with the long-time dresser of Queen Angela Kelly.

Mr. Scobie said in an interview with True Royalty TV that Prince Harry became angry at Mrs Kelly after she “deliberately dragged her feet” when Meghan asked to watch the chapter before her wedding.

In the interview, Mr Scobie said: “Harry had to intervene.

“He called his grandmother and said, ‘I do not know what the hell is going on. This woman must make this work for my future wife ‘.

‘And of course we can now see exactly where this’ what Meghan wants, Meghan gets’ narrative comes from.

“Harry felt that there were those within the institution who at least did nothing to make Meghan’s life difficult.”

In the book by Mr Scobie, co-author of Carolyn Durand, the situation between Harry and Ms Kelly is described as a “hot exchange”.

The book states: “What followed between the prince and Angela was a hot exchange that was far from the expected typical constraint.

“According to a source, Harry had no problem confronting the issue. “He was tired of it,” said the aide.

‘Finally, Harry had to talk to his grandmother about the situation. And she got her trial. ”

According to the authors, a former Buckingham Palace aide insisted that Harry became “too sensitive” when he accused Ms Kelly of trying to make things difficult for the Duchess.

But a source close to the duke said: “nothing could convince Harry that some of the old guards at the Palace just did not like Meghan and would stop at nothing to make her life difficult”.

A friend said: “Meg had flown her hairdresser from Paris to a hair salon and they needed the tiara.

‘Angela Kelly said she could not come to London [from Windsor] and Harry went ballistic.

‘He was worried about the treatment of his then fifth. Sa’n snub. “
