A report said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s comments urged Americans to vote to see if they were a “violation” of their deal to leave the royal family, which they said would deprive them of some of their titles.
In a report by Sudex Times, the “Duke and Duchess of Sussex” worried other Royals when they asked American voters to “reject hate speech, misinformation and ne-line negativity” in “the most important election of our lives”.
The Royals are believed to remain politically neutral and when the couple resigned from the family they said “whatever they do will uphold her Maharashtra values”, the outlet said.
“The [royal] The families are all thinking on their hands, wondering: where is this going and is this deal to sustain the Queen’s values? “The feeling is a breach of contract,” a royal aide told the outlet.
Buckingham Palace said last week that “any comment made by Prince Harry is made in personal capacity.”
But sources said the royal house was embarrassed by the remark, which was seen as a loss to President Trump.
“If Trump is re-elected and makes another visit here, what does the Queen have to say when her grandson and his wife have effectively campaigned against him?” A source told the newspaper.
The couple’s comments were followed by a discussion among aides on how to distance themselves from the royal family, the report said.
Among the possibilities under consideration is to take their royal high title, which they were allowed to keep when they signed their Magxit agreement but did not use them.
“The point is, you can’t do that to Harry. He also had Edward VIII [His Royal Highness] When he gave up … [but] There is a strong view that the family really needs to have more distance between them and between Harry and Meghan, ”an aide told the newspaper.
Buckingham Palace has not commented on the alleged negotiations between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the outlet report said.
