Throwing a jagged smile at the camera, Prince George is rapidly growing in new photographs released to mark his seventh birthday.

Taken by his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, earlier this month, George shows off his blonde locks, inherited from his father, while smiling at the camera.

George was born on July 22, 2013, at the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Paddington, and weighed 8lb 6oz.

Kate and William dated him a day after his birth and announced his full name, George Alexander Louis.

He has been home schooled during the confinement with his sister Charlotte, at their home in Anmer Hall, where these two new images are believed to have been taken.

In one image, George’s hair is neatly brushed to one side as he grins at the camera. He is wearing a dark green polo shirt and is standing against a green drop from his back.

In a second, George’s hair appears fluttering in the wind, and stands at an angle, making it look like a field and a path behind him. He wears a camouflage shirt, perhaps inspired by his uncle’s military service.

Kate, 38, has fostered outdoor love for her children, and talks about the importance of hanging out with them, for long, often muddy walks.

He may also be catching his gardening mistake, with Kate revealing that she enjoyed growing tomatoes and sunflowers, even if hers was smaller than her brother’s since they spent time in Norfolk.

He has been photographed locked up several times, many of which have been thanks to his mother’s ongoing photographic work.

She filmed it with her sister and younger brother Louis, applauding the caregivers in the first week of the campaign.

And he appeared with all of them during the BBC’s Big Night In.

Kate later released a photo of George with Charlotte and her father, Prince William, as a volunteer near their home on the Sandringham Estate.

And George appeared in the birthday photos taken for Prince William’s 38, which also fell on Father’s Day.
