Youtuber Nicole Thea and her unborn child died of a possible heart attack, her family said.
Nicole, who was eight months pregnant with their first child, and her boyfriend Jeffery Frimpong, the street dancer Global Boga, were expecting a baby they had already named Reign.
The Instagram influencer had complained of chest and back pain before her death.
She died at her home in Hexborough, Yorkshire on Saturday morning along with Reign.
In the weeks leading up to the tragedy, he had had difficulty breathing.
Her uncle Charles Murray has said the family understands that he suffered cardiac arrest.
He told MailOnline: “From what I heard right now, we believe he had a massive heart attack.
“He had it at home and was telling his partner that he had chest and back pain.”
He added: “It has really rocked us all.”
Future mom Nicole, who would have turned 25 on July 29, had told her fans that she was having a “good pregnancy” and often wrote about her enthusiasm, but made no secret of the reality of having a child.
Two days before her death, she told her Instagram followers that she was “tired,” and in a clip posted on July 1, she said, “I’m more emotional.
“It could literally be fine for a minute and then the second I’m crying.
“I am having a good pregnancy, but the emotions are too much. I am out of breath 24/7.
“I was walking from here to the end of the room and I felt like I was dying
“I feel like the baby is eating me.”
Nicole’s mother announced her death in a heartbreaking Instagram post.
She wrote: “For all of Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform them that Nicole and her son, she and Boga, named Reign, sadly they passed away on Saturday morning.
“Nicole also preprograms some YouTube videos and Boga made the decision to allow them to stream.
“As a family, we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what happened.
“Thank you, your mother.
“RIP My beautiful girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in the eternal sky. Xxx”.
