The Powerball jackpot for Saturday’s lottery drawing has gone up to $ 158 million with a cash prize of $ 130.3 million.
Saturday’s winning numbers were: 2, 3, 14, 40, en 51. The Power Ball was drawn 24 with a Power Play fan 3x.
While no one hit the $ 147 million draw on Wednesday, a second prize sold in Tennessee matched five numbers, but not the Powerball and is worth $ 1 million.
In New Jersey, a third prize ticket matched four numbers plus the Powerball and is worth $ 50,000. It was bought at gud2go, a convenience store on Route 70 west in the Marlton section of Evesham, said lottery officials.
The chances of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $ 2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance of matching five numbers and at least $ 1 million winning, while there is about a 1 in 913,129 shot of winning the third prize of at least $ 50,000.
Powerball will be played on Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, Washington DC, the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
The New Jersey Lottery office in Lawrence will be closed until at least August 10 due to COVID-19 and will not accept lawsuit claims. You can still win your profit – provided they are less than $ 599.50 – personally at each retailer.
The lottery also accepts claims by mail, although officials warn that payments will be temporarily delayed. Winners are advised to make copies of the promotion form and the winning ticket for their records.
