Possible community exposures in Springfield

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department says four new cases have been diagnosed in Greene County.

The cases visited the following locations before being tested.

• Wednesday, June 24: I visited Genesis Health Club North at 1828 N Glenstone Ave. from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm (infectious but not symptomatic, not masked)
• Thursday, June 25: I visited Sam’s Club at 745 W. El Camino Alto from 12:30 to 1:00 pm (infectious but not symptomatic, not masked)
• Saturday, June 27: I visited Genesis Health Club North at 1828 N Glenstone Ave. from 10 am to 11 am for an exercise class with participants 6 feet apart (infectious and symptomatic, not masked)
• Sunday, June 28: I visited Sam’s Club at 3660 E. Sunshine St. between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm for approximately 20 minutes (infectious and symptomatic, not masked)
• Thursday, July 2: I visited Apple Market at 319 S. Main St. in Rogersville at 2:00 pm for approximately 20 minutes. (infectious and symptomatic, not masked)
• Thursday, July 2: I visited Walmart at 2021 E. Independence St. at 4 pm for about an hour (infectious and symptomatic, not masked)

Before being diagnosed, a fourth individual worked at Walmart at 2825 N Kansas Expressway on the following dates:

• Tuesday June 23 from 9 am to 5 pm (Infectious but not symptomatic, masked)
• Wednesday June 24 from 9 am to 6 pm (infectious and symptomatic, masked)
• Thursday, June 25 from 9 am to 6 pm (infectious and symptomatic, masked)

If you visited any of these places, you have a low risk of contracting the virus, but the health department asks you to monitor your symptoms anyway.

COVID-19 symptoms include:

• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches.
• Headache
• New loss of taste or odor.
• Sore throat
• Stuffy or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea
