Until a couple of years ago, Tiger was religiously in a bonded hosel fairway, as those heads generally “feel” a little more stable and are optically a little more pleasant to watch. Obviously that’s all player specific. but in the past, that was Tiger’s reasoning.

Woodlands 3 and 5 are clubs that Tiger likes to “hit,” fly high and low, and they have to provide a ton of versatility. Finding the right one for him is no easy feat.
