Vitória Sport Clube, Futebol SAD was surprised, this Thursday, with the decision communicated by the main team coach, Tiago Mendes, to end his connection with the club.
The stated position breaks a long month of work between the football structure and the coach chosen by the Administration for the construction and preparation of a template that would allow the sports policy of Vitória SC to be specified and achieve the objectives set.
Taking into account that all the decisions taken in relation to the main team had the participation and agreement of the coach and that he always had total autonomy to exercise his leadership, the Administration believes that such a position, even at the beginning of the season and in a week in which the coach attends the UEFA Pro course, it can only be received as a manifestation of insecurity incompatible with Vitória SC.
In this sense, a new technical leadership will be presented shortly that fits into the sports project and allows the achievement of the desired results.
