The coach says he does not agree with the club’s sports policy.
André Villas-Boas presented on Tuesday the resignation of the Marseille coach.
The 43-year-old Portuguese coach made the announcement at the press conference prior to the match against Lens, scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
“I went ahead with my resignation for not agreeing with the club’s sports policy. I don’t want anything from Marseille, I don’t want money,” Villas-Boas was quoted as saying by L’Équipe.

L’Équipe said the club’s management has yet to comment on AVB’s resignation.
