Rui Bento, coach of the U-20 National Team, summoned 25 players for a preparation stage for the Elite Round of access to the final stage of the Euro U19, which was subsequently postponed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Among those chosen is Fábio Silva, a forward who this summer led the media transfer from FC Porto to Wolverhampton.

Benfica is the most represented club in the call-up, with six athletes, followed by FC Porto and Sporting, with four each.

During this stage, those under 20 years of age will carry out seven training sessions at the Cidade do Futebol, where a preparation match with Belenenses SAD is also planned on the 9th.
