The ship that was stranded in the Suez Canal is already moving, seven days after being stranded.

In recent days, a major operation has been carried out to unleash Evergreen’s “Ever Given”. In the queue to pass the canal there are about 400 boats, which will now be able to start circulating. However, the Egyptian government has already said that it may take “three and a half days” before circulation is normalized.

The freighter interrupted the circulation of one of the most important maritime routes in the world. The rising tide helped move Ever Ever from the sandbar where it had been since early Tuesday morning.

The 400-meter-long container with a capacity of 224,000 tons of cargo has the Panamanian flag and is owned by Evergreen, a Taiwanese company.
