The statement from the Public Security Police comes after the list of approved candidates for the agent training course was known, which had only 793 approved candidates for a thousand vacancies, and the selection criteria for new police officers.

The PSP has also guaranteed that the selection criteria and the tests provided by the candidates “did not suffer any alteration or improvement”, that is, in the cultural test, and that the candidates for the XVI CFA were “selected with all rigor and merit” .

According to the PSP unions, for the first time in a PSP competition, the planned vacancies were not filled.

The lack of elements in the PSP and an aging staff has been a major problem in this security force.
