Rui Franco, a Sporting partner who came to Alvalade this Saturday to exercise his right to vote in the General Assembly, says he was attacked by three people linked to the Leonese cheerleaders. He told Maisfutebol how it all happened and ended up with several abrasions and injuries to his face after the attacks.
«What happened was simple: I am a confessed and declared supporter of the current leadership and of Frederico Varandas. After exercising my right to vote, I was approached by a man named Colmeia, with whom I had already exchanged messages on Facebook and who had even blocked me, ”he began by telling Rui Franco.
“That person told me it was Colmeia and began to verbally and physically attack me, along with two other colleagues. The assaults lasted a few seconds, because the police were 50 meters away and came to my aid. There was also a person who grabbed me, I think to protect me. The police have identified them and I will file a complaint ”.
Rui Franco was finally assisted on the spot by firefighters and then went to the hospital.
