Vítor Oliveira also left an indelible mark on his pupils, and several of his former players also wanted to be present at the last farewell, among which is the goalkeeper Beto, currently in Leixões, who speaks of the coach as “a father”. in football “.
“He leaves a legacy of truth and coherence in football, of frankness, honesty and credibility. There are values that have been lost and he kept them alive. It is my obligation to pass on this legacy that he left. He will always be a very important person and That it will always remain in my heart, “said the Portuguese international.
Pedro Proença, president of the Portuguese Football League, also highlighted the example that Vítor Oliveira sets for future generations, lamenting a year of many defeats in sport.
