The Tech3 team rider from Almada starts from the first position for this 14th and last race of the season, after having achieved the first pole position in the Portuguese motorcycling race and history on Saturday.

In the main category, MotoGP, the Spanish Joan Mir (Suzuki) is already virtual champion, while the Portuguese occupies the tenth position, with 100 points.

In case of victory, Miguel Oliveira rises to at least ninth position, currently occupied by Japanese Takaaki Nakagami (Honda), with 105 points.
