The Portuguese rider finished the Valencia GP this Sunday in 6th place

Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira (KTM) admitted on Sunday that the wind felt in the middle of the MotoGP Community Grand Prix made his bike “very nervous” and difficult to ride.

Miguel Oliveira finished this penultimate race of the season in sixth position, 7.272 seconds behind the winner, the Italian-Brazilian Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha).

“I’m happy with this race. In fact, half the race it took me a bit to keep up. I lost my grip at the rear. Maybe because of the wind the bike was very nervous. The difference was not much, one tenth and half”. at two crucial points [do circuito], which made me lose contact with those in front ”, explained the Almada driver.

Oliveira also recalled that “the race was faster than last week”, so it ended up being “more competitive”, despite being one place behind.

“It’s a good start, going up from fifteenth to fifth. Now I’m going to the Grand Prix at home motivated, with the aim of having fun in this last race,” he concluded.

With this result, the Portuguese rider maintained tenth place in the championship, now with 100 points.
