Paulinho was the author of Sporting’s goal in the 1-1 draw with Leiria, in the Portuguese Championship.
Sporting held a private match with Leiria this Sunday morning, at the Alcochete Academy, and drew 1-1. Paulinho was the author of the goal of the lions against the leader of the Serie E of the Portuguese Championship, in what was the forward’s debut to score for the lions, albeit unofficially. For the Lisbon team, Rui Gomes won.
Without eight players for international commitments, the green and white emblem was aligned as follows: André Paulo; Eduardo Quaresma, Coates and Gonçalo Inácio; João Pereira, Matheus Nunes, João Mário and Matheus Reis; Tabata, Jovane and Paulinho.
In the second half, left-back Flávio Nazinho, midfielder Dário Essugo and forward Joelson, three young promises from Leon, were at stake.
