The Disciplinary Council of the Portuguese Football Federation announced, this Wednesday, the introduction of a sanctioning file against Sporting players João Palhinha, Feddal and Luís Neto, as well as Hugo Viana, sports director of the Leon team.
The process is due to “failure to comply with other duties at stake with which to count for the Liga NOS, after the call for the investigation process, processed in the League Instructors Committee”, as can be read in a statement.
BOLA, however, found that there are facts in the first round of the championship in Famalicão, which took place on December 5, 2020 and ended with two equal goals. Only now has the process followed normal procedures due to the delay in collecting evidence, that is, the availability of Famalicão images.
Also as announced by the Disciplinary Council, the process now goes to the League Instructors Commission, advertising is excluded until the end of the instruction.
