Sara was the youngest of Tony Carreira’s three children and had a relationship of great tenderness and complicity with her brothers, David and Mickael. He still lived with his mother, Fernanda, whose child was the apple of his eye. Despite the initial reluctance of the clan, a year ago he had decided to venture into a solo career in the world of music and this year he had launched a clothing brand, in partnership with the stylist Micaela Oliveira.

In a year marked by new professional projects, Carreira’s youngest had also found love again, along with 30-year-old Ivo Lucas. The two grew closer last summer and made no secret of their closest friends that they were in love. On the eve of the fatal accident, Sara belatedly celebrated her 21st birthday with friends at a dinner at a well-known Lisbon restaurant. On her birthday, October 21, she had been with her parents and closest relatives, having been surprised by her father, Tony, with a message of great tenderness.
