A building collapsed on Wednesday after an explosion in a London neighborhood in England, reportedly killing two. SkyNews.
It is suspected that it was a gas explosion in a mobile phone store.
“The explosion caused substantial damage to the store and structural damage along its entire length,” said Fire Commander Paul Morgan, who was at the scene with 40 men.
“I closed my store as usual last night and nothing seemed to be happening. Then I got a call from a neighbor to come over because my store was completely destroyed,” said the owner of the mobile phone store.
A spokesman for the metropolitan police said a man was found wounded and there was no suspicion of a criminal hand in the blast. “The streets have been closed and close neighbors have been evacuated,” added the agent.
