Xiaomi presented the new flagship Mi 11 to the world last Monday. This smartphone promises to be a real machine in the hands of the user, especially since it is already equipped with the new Snapdragon 888 processor from Qualcomm.

The time has come for the various tests to prove the power of this team. In this regard, the Mi 11 was placed next to the iPhone 12 Pro Max, in a test and Wi-Fi speed. And the Xiaomi flagship surpassed the Apple team with distinction.

Presented on Monday, December 28, the Xiaomi Mi 11 aroused a lot of curiosity on the part of consumers. In addition to bringing the new high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, all its specifications suggest that it is a very powerful smartphone.

The phone has also been disassembled and shows a powerful but attractive Snapdragon 888. The production price of the Mi 11 is also known to be the same as that of the iPhone 12.

Thus, there is a growing curiosity about the results of the tests and analyzes that will be carried out. And one of them has already been released.

Xiaomi's Mi 11 outperforms iPhone 12 Pro Max in Wi-Fi speed test

Xiaomi revealed the results of a comparison made between the Mi 11 and the iPhone 12 Pro Max, in terms of Wi-Fi speed. For this test, the high-end router from Xiaomi AX6000 was used, with support for Wi-Fi 6E. This equipment has 512 MB of RAM and is capable of supporting a simultaneous connection of 248 devices, with a bandwidth of 800 Mbps.

The test was carried out inside a football stadium, where the router was placed in the middle of the field. It should be noted that this router proved capable of covering the entire soccer field.

The two smartphones were placed at the same distance from the router and, as they moved further away, it could be noticed that the Mi 11 received a stronger and significantly faster connection signal than the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

In the first test, the Mi 11 achieved a stronger signal and led the download speed. In the second test, the Chinese smartphone continued to perform better, with the signal strength barely changing, only slightly reduced in speed. The iPhone 12 Pro Max, on the other hand, had a reduced signal, reaching the point where it could only count on 1/4 of the strength of the 800Mbps broadband.

In short, Xiaomi killed two birds with one stone. In other words, it showed the full potential of its two new products, while defeating, at least in this test, one of its biggest rivals.

The Xiaomi Mi has already started to be sold in China for 3,999 yuan (~ 500 euros) in the charger version, and 4,099 yuan (~ 517 euros) in the model that still has this accessory.

In turn, the AX6000 router will be released on January 8.
