Solskjaer is not without danger and Manchester United already has a possible successor lined up

Test

The results throughout this season will mark the future of the Norwegian at the head of the “red devils”.

As has happened in recent years, the start of the Manchester United season – where Portuguese Bruno Fernandes works – was marked by some irregularity.

The results in the Premier League have been below expectations and, in the Champions League, the “red devils” are part of a trio that will fight to the last to qualify for the round of 16, alongside PSG and Leipzig.

As such, the results of the next few weeks should dictate the future of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the helm of the English team. The Norwegian’s position on the United bench is not exactly certain and, according to the German press, the Manchester emblem has already lined up the possible successor of the former striker.

According to the Bild newspaper, this is Thomas Tuchel, a German who runs … PSG. Despite the manager’s positive results in Paris, the relationship with some elements of the structure – with sports director Leonardo at the helm – is not the best, and the German’s contractual relationship with PSG expires at the end of the season.

A situation that might seem desirable for Manchester United, as Solskjaer also ends his contract in June 2021.
