Pedro Pinto, a journalist who runs “Jornal da Uma” (Monday to Friday) and “Jornal das 8” (weekends), leaves TVI to go to SL Benfica. The pivot of the Queluz de Baixo station will lead the communication of those incarnated and will be responsible for the club’s channel, BTV.

The journalist presented “Jornal das 8” for the last time this Sunday, November 22, on TVI. “This was the last newspaper I presented, it is my last day here at TVI. In a message sent to SAPO Mag, Anselmo Crespo, TVI’s information director, wished Pedro Pinto the “greatest successes”. “In the last two decades, Pedro Pinto has been a dedicated professional committed to the success of TVI information. Whether as a pivot (in TVI and TVI24), as a coordinator or as a member of the Information Directorate and, more recently , as interim director, a role that he fulfilled with a high sense of duty, ensuring a smooth transition ”, he stresses.

The journalist had been with the channel for more than 22 years, having served as Director of Information.

At the club, the journalist will replace Luís Bernardo, SL Benfica’s communication director since 2016. The departure of José Sócrates’s former adviser was announced at the beginning of November.
