Miguel Oliveira was fifth in the European GP in Valencia. The Portuguese rider had started from seventh position and immediately won fifth position, running a few laps in that position.
On the first lap Aleix Espargaró and Fabio Quartararo fell together but without touching and the Portuguese rider managed to overtake the Japanese Nakagami, riding in fourth place for a while, until he was again overtaken by Nakagami on lap 16.
Joan Mir (Suzuki), who started third, ended up winning, ahead of his colleague and team Alex Rins and Pol Espargaró, and extended the Moto GP lead to just two races from the end.
Mir leads with 62, ahead of Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins, with 125. Miguel Oliveira is tenth with 90 points.
