The president-elect of the United States of America, Joe Biden, said this Saturday (Sunday morning in Lisbon) that it is time to heal the restaurant “the soul of America” and make the country again be respected in the world.

The president-elect presented a list of priorities that include fighting covid-19 or racism and defending the economy or the climate.

Joe Biden will appoint a transition advisory commission next Monday to deal with the new coronavirus pandemic.
The president-elect has already elected a group of scientists and experts to the commission.

Cooperation between Democrats and Republicans was one of the promises Joe Biden made in his victory speech.
“The fact that Republicans and Democrats refuse to work with each other is not a mysterious and uncontrollable force, it is a decision, a choice that we make, and if we can decide not to cooperate, we can also decide to cooperate.”
