Four islands of the Azores under yellow warning due to rain and rough seas
The islands of the Western and Eastern Group of the Azores will be under yellow weather alert, starting on Friday, due to forecasts of rainfall, sometimes heavy, and still agitation of the sea.

In the notices issued, the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) informs that, for the Western Group (Flores and Corvo islands), the yellow warning regarding maritime agitation with northwest swell will be in effect from 06:00 hours Friday. until 6:00 am on Saturday.
For those two islands, a yellow warning was also issued due to forecasts of rain, sometimes heavy, between 9 p.m. Friday and 12 p.m. Saturday.
In the Eastern Group of the archipelago (São Miguel and Santa María), the yellow weather alert will be in effect between 06:00 and 12:00 on Friday, since the forecasts also point to sometimes heavy rains on those two islands.
