Benfica also benefits from the transfer of Fábio Silva to Wolverhampton – FC Porto

Benfica will put in 200 thousand euros with transfer of Fábio Silva from FC Porto to Wolverhampton. The English club paid 40 million euros for the young forward and the Reds benefit from the solidarity mechanism.

The Eagles are entitled to 0.5 percent of the transfer because Fábio Silva played for Seixal for two seasons, aged 13 and 14 (0.25% for each of those seasons). It should be remembered that the Solidarity Mechanism reserves 5 percent of the value of a transfer to the clubs that trained the player between 12 and 23 years of age.
