A the Festa do Avante, this weekend, in a year in which the world fights against pandemic that has killed more than 863 thousand people and infetou 26 million, has generated much controversy.
In view of this controversy, Funerária Semper Fiel, from the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, in Aveiro, decided to play with the situation and offer a return trip to anyone who goes to Avante.
The ‘announcement’ was made through a video, shared on the Facebook the funeral home. In the images we see a driver from one of the vans of the company, with brochures of the Festa do Avante! and, at some point, going through a poster of the event.
At the end of the video, we read “we are still prepared … At the end, we offer a ride to their land”. The word earth ends up being erased, at the same time as the undertaker launches the challenge: “Are you going ahead?”
In the caption of the publication, Funerária Semper Fiel recalls that the Festa do Avante! starts this friday 4 September, and remember that the transportation offer is valid “only for lifeless human beings” and does not include other funeral services.
