“Tell the Portuguese to vote for another government”, says the woman Marcelo

HE The President of the Republic was approached this Friday by a woman who was concerned to show her indignation in relation to the support provided to microentrepreneurs and that contrasted with those who receive TAP and hotels.

“We have to pay for everything and no one helps us. Why do they help TAP and the hotels and we, who are micro-entrepreneurs, don’t help each other, Mr. President? Why?” the woman asked Marcelo.

The head of state shot: “I give you the answer. Because the Portuguese voted for this Government”.

Visibly indignant, the woman continued: “Why do I have to eat bread?” “Because the Portuguese voted for this Government. Tell the Portuguese to vote for another government “Marcelo replied.

“But I did not vote for this government,” he continued. “The majority voted, what am I supposed to do?”, Returned the president, concluding: “To convince the people to vote differently in other elections.”
