Updated: This post was renewed after Phoenix closed its 128-102 win over Dallas and Memphis closed its 119-106 win over Milwaukee.

The Portland Trail Blazers season will end Thursday night if they do not defeat the Brooklyn Nets.

Memphis’ win in ninth place over Milwaukee earlier on Thursday and the hammering of Phoenix in 10th place from Dallas means that Portland would fall to 10th and out of the playoff controversy with a loss.

A victory for the Blazers would leave them at no. 8 and they would no. 9 Memphis play in the play-off round. If Portland loses, the Grizzlies would jump to No. 8 and Phoenix would be within No. 9 come.

Be sure to check back all day for updates before, during and after the Blazers game, which tips at 6 p.m.
