Portia de Rossi says Mrs Ellen DeGeneres ‘does great’

Portia de Rossi gave an update on her wife Ellen DeGeneres amid the ongoing drama and investigation into claims of a toxic work environment on her talk show during the day.

On Sunday, Rossi, 47, told a photographer that DeGeneres is “doing fine” while on a walk with her mother Margaret and her dogs in Santa Barbara.

The ‘Arrested Development’ actress tried to go incognito in sunglasses, a hat and a scarf to cover her face, but was dragged by photographers.

When asked if DeGeneres, 62, would continue her talk show, Rossi simply said, “Yes, that’s her.”

In July, dozens of former employees came forward with claims about a toxic work environment on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Shortly afterwards, WarnerMedia launched an official investigation into the show’s allegations, which include sexual abuse, harassment and assault by top executives.

DeGeneres issued an apology statement, seeming to place the blame on other employees, saying, “While we have grown exponentially, I am unable to stay above all else and rely on others to do their jobs because they “I knew I would have done it. Clearly not. That will change now and I’m sure this will not happen again.”

While several of DeGeneres’ P-pals have come out in support of the talk show host, others speak up by talking to her.

The ratings of her show have gone down a notch last month, however, executive producers said DeGeneres will not stop her show.
