Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo spied briefly with Strange Camo

It was about a year ago when Porsche confirmed the existence of the E Cross Turismo, which, at the time, was supposedly a kind of crossover based on the already powerful Taycan platform. The first of many platform-based derivatives, the Cross Tourism is inches from its launch in late 2020, with a fair amount of test mules already detected in recent months doing their usual road tests, and showing the Porsche’s latest Taycan iteration is almost ready for production.

The latest spy video is a quick clip of someone who shot on the German highway who was lucky enough to see a Taycan Cross Turismo sporting that strange taillight camouflage we’ve seen before. While the video is just under a minute, it does give us a good look at the rear of the sleek-looking electric van. As we have reported before, these mules appear to be exactly what we will get very soon, as Porsche is not yet ready to reveal the full rework of the one-piece LED tail light strip that is similar to that of the normal Taycan. If anything, that bureaucracy makes it look like some sort of raccoon, and it draws more attention to the taillights than anything else.

Of course, it looks as stylish as ever and is essentially a Taycan with a longer roof and cargo space. It is not a bad thing at all. As with the normal Taycan, we can expect similar, if not the same, versions with the Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo, and Taycan Turbo S with powers ranging from 530 horsepower (395 kilowatts) to 761 hp (567 kW ). We can also expect similar handling performance, extremely fast acceleration and all-wheel drive as standard.

We will learn more in time, and not much has yet been said about the other versions of the Porsche Taycan. However, one thing is for sure; You can expect Porsche to be on the front line of the EV race for quite some time.
