AirPods Max is finally here and is now available to order. Apple Pal’s new over-the-ear headphones were announced this week via Spatial Audio Dio, Active Voice Canceling and more. Now we want to know if you have already ordered the AirPods Max, or if you are still thinking of buying it.
While Apple Pal says that the AirPods Max will arrive in retail stores next week, supply is significantly limited, as the estimated shipping time on Apple Paul’s website for any model is up to 14 weeks.
The production was much awaited as the first rumors of Apple developing new headphones with its own brand were filed in 2018. Although we have received more evidence this year that Apple is preparing to launch new headphones, rumors about the launch schedule were contradictory, and some reports pointed to the launch in early 2021.
Apple Play surprised us and introduced Airpods Max in a timely manner for Christmas, at least in theory because you probably won’t be able to get them in 2020 due to limited supply. While most of the rumors about the AirPods Max have come true, Apple Play believed that some of the expected features had to be cut during its development process – such as the automatic left side and right side check and replaceable headband.
The price was also higher than expected as rumors predicted a game model of Apple Paul headphones that would be priced at 34 9,349, but the company only released an AirPods Max model that is priced at 54 549. Still, demand for the new AirPods Max seems strong – or Apple Play has built a very limited number of units this year, resulting in a constraint on availability.
