The first question we asked is just as basic as: Is the Pixel 5 hot or not? There’s no middle ground here, so you need to think about whether the phone is either exciting or boring. Here are the results:
Clearly, most of our readers believe that Google has done a great job with the overall Google Pixel 5. Of course, about 36% of you think the phone is just not a good thing, but it feels like you’re in the minority.
Next, we ran the poll with a little more nuisance. In this, we asked if you intend to buy Pixel 5 or Pixel 4A 5G. There were five possible answers:
- Yes, I’m buying a Pixel 5.
- Yes, I am buying Pixel 4A 5G.
- Yes, I’m buying both.
- No, I’m not buying either.
- I haven’t decided yet.
As it turns out, most readers who responded to this poll are considering buying at least one device. Check out the results below.
If you combine the three “yes, I’m going to buy” answers, you get about 55% of respondents who plan to give the phone some cash to Google. If you include about 15% of the answers that haven’t been decided yet, that’s about 70% Android Authority Poll responders who are considering buying at least one of these phones. That’s good news for Google!
Of course, there are still about 31% of respondents who have no intention of buying a Google Pixel 5 or Pixel 4A 5G.
