Police say the driver started the shootout by pinning the F-Duty Detroit officer’s car against the wall on the I-75.


Detroit – One-F Duty Detroit Police Officer Was wounded During the shootout with the pickup truck driver According to officials, who repeatedly rammed into his vehicle on an I-75.

The officer was heading south on I-75 near In-Springwells Street Southwest Detroit Around midnight on Thursday when she was later overtaken by a Black Ford F-150, police said.

When she tried to flee, a pickup truck came up behind her and crashed into her vehicle, pinning her against a construction barrier wall, officials said.

The 34-year-old man driving the pickup truck knew the officer, police said. He got out of the pickup truck and started firing with the officer, according to officers.

During the shooting, both the officer and the-old man were wounded by a gun, police said.

The officer suffered a grazing wound to his body before fleeing the 7900 block of Ol Livet Street, officials said. He was taken to a nearby hospital by medical officials and is listed as stable.

A 34-year-old man was also shot, police said. In critical condition, he was taken into custody and taken to a nearby hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated, officials said.
